Far Far Away

"Gail LeBoff's Glacier Girls have an internally directed perspective and convey a sense of wonderment. In her work, she forges a natural connection between the Icelandic terrain and the personal effort of ice-skating - so perfectly capturing the latter within the presence or implied pauses in navigation. This work speaks worlds about a space where we experience or share seeming isolation. It beautifully conveys fortitude, hope, and an acceptance of this space as symbolic of everyone's shared journey.
